Samu Immonen’s rise in the world of motorsports has been nothing short of meteoric. Since beginning his karting journey in the fall of 2024, Samu has transformed from a promising beginner into an elite-level athlete, proving that speed and precision are part of his DNA.

 THE DOMINANT DEBUT: 2024–2025

Samu’s natural talent was first ignited on the indoor circuits, where his dedication was unmatched. Logging over 2,000 kilometers of practice in a single winter, he didn’t just participate—he dominated.

• Championship Title: Secured the 2024–2025 Indoor Racing Series title with three races still remaining on the calendar.
• Track Records: Currently holds multiple track records at the prestigious VM-Karting Center, a high-performance hub where national and international champions hone their skills.
• The 22-Race Masterclass: In his very first season, Samu showcased incredible consistency, winning and dominating a demanding 22-race series on his first attempt.

 THE OUTDOOR CHALLENGE: RMC FINLAND & TEAM FINLAND

In June 2025, Samu made the leap to outdoor racing, joining the renowned Parviainen Motorsport / Team Finland. Stepping into the Rotax Max Challenge (RMC) Finland series was a monumental challenge—comparable to entering the NHL without prior experience.

• Rapid Progression: Despite joining mid-season, Samu’s learning curve was vertical. He silenced the skeptics by showing elite pace and car control, proving he belongs at the top of the Finnish karting scene.
• The Podium Break: By July 2025, Samu secured his first outdoor podium with a P2 finish in Vihti, cementing his status as a frontrunner.

 THE MULTI-TALENT ADVANTAGE: ICE & EV

What sets Samu apart is his “Ice-to-Track” versatility. He has spent intensive winter practises at the Juha Kankkunen Driving Academy, mastering car control in full-sized race cars on slippery ice tracks. This elite training has gifted him a superior understanding of weight transfer and grip management that many drivers take years to develop.

Furthermore, as an EV Pioneer, Samu has already begun testing high-performance electric race cars at the international Kymiring circuit, successfully adapting to the instant torque and technical demands of the future of racing.

 GLOBAL SUCCESS: 2026 & BEYOND

As we move through 2026, Samu has officially entered the global conversation:

• SWS World Ranking: Currently ranked in the Global TOP 3 of the Sodi World Series (SWS) Junior category—competing against thousands of drivers worldwide.
• World Finalist: Qualified to represent Finland on the world stage in Le Mans, France, and Alcamo, Italy.
